Most of the money raised for our annual turkey drive comes from personal appeals, and from email messages sent by Nation of Men members and friends to their friends, family, and personal and business acquaintances. Some send out a request to hundreds of people, and raise hundreds, even thousands of dollars this way. Remember - you are giving people an opportunity to make a difference in the world, and an opportunity to feel good about doing so!

SAMPLE EMAILS
Here are three sample email messages that you can download and use as a template for an email message. Use your own name (of course!) and personalize the email as you see fit. Regarding checks: you can either have them send checks to you or have them send checks directly to Marty. In either case, checks still should be made out to Miracles are Still Possible.
TURKEY BUCKS
Good for personal interactions. If someone asks you what you're up to, you can tell them about the Turkey Drive, and hand them a Turkey Buck! The Turkey Bucks have brief info about the Turkey Drive, plus the web site link. Keep some in your wallet-they will remind you of the Turkey Drive several times a day!
If you run out, we can get more turkey bucks for you. But in the meantime, you can make your own! Download and print the following two-sided PDF file (try a sample before printing a bunch) and cut on the lines. Green paper works well—but pick any color you like!
TURKEY FLYER
If you'd like something a little larger to hand out or post on a bulletin board, here is a letter-size flyer. Cut it in half to get two 5 x 8 cards and you are good to go!
