It's intriguing to sit down to describe TNT. The team was formed 10 years ago. What's we've been known for (at least to me) is our ability to listen to each man, ask good questions, build mutual trust, go deep into our issues and encourage our members to go for what's important to them. I think we're pretty effective at helping men to clarify what they want. We count 10 men as ex-team-members. Some of these are guys who didn't want to build mutual trust, go deep, etc., and others have clarified their priorities and moved toward them.
At one point we were nicknamed "The Nuptial Team" because we organized the wedding celebrations of two of our members. Some of our members have gone through major changes with essential support from the team; that's one of the main purposes of EBNoM teams. The team has seen me going back to work from early retirement, getting involved with my partner and her daughter and then moving in with them ... all normal life changes, and done much better with the support of my team. Sometimes it helps a lot to have men who care about me simply listen to me and understand where I'm at. And sometime it helps for them to ask me the tough questions and then help me to live up to the answers.
Currently we have three members. All have been on the team for 10 years and all have been chiefs (officers of EBNoM) and are veteran organizers of EBNoM events. At the time of this writing TNT is in an unusual position as a team. We are fulfilling all our team commitments to EBNoM, but are meeting as a team only on an ad hoc basis. This, of course, is not suitable for taking in new members. Stay tuned for a change in this status.
